This policy covers what apps.mrjackdaw.com (the website) collects from visitors. Each app published by Mr. Jackdaw Company LLC has its own privacy policy that describes what the app itself does on your device. Those policies are linked below.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate visitor traffic. Google Analytics records page views, approximate location derived from your IP address (typically at city or country granularity), referring source, browser, operating system, and screen size. IP addresses are not stored. No advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking, or per-user profiles are configured.
This measurement helps us understand which apps and pages people find useful. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond improving the site and the apps.
What We Don't Collect
The site has no account system. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information through ordinary browsing. We do not sell or share visitor data. We do not run advertising, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers.
One exception: the HopStop beta signup form at /hopstop/beta asks for your email and platform interest to invite you to the HopStop TestFlight beta. The handling of that form is described in the HopStop privacy policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (typically _ga and related) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions in aggregate. These cookies do not contain personal information and are not used for cross-site tracking. You can block them in your browser settings, use a privacy-focused browser, or install a Google Analytics opt-out extension.
Third-Party Services
The site relies on the following third parties:
- Google Analytics. Measurement, as described above. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts. The site loads typefaces (Inter, DM Mono, Noto Sans) from
fonts.googleapis.com. When your browser requests a font file, Google sees your IP address. - Formspree. The HopStop beta signup form submits to Formspree, which delivers the submission to us by email. The form is the only place on the site where data is sent to Formspree.
- Render. The site is hosted by Render. Render's web server logs see your IP address and request metadata as part of ordinary HTTP serving.

Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
